1. Our commitment

DMO Care Healthcare Ltd  has zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. We are committed to acting ethically, with integrity, and in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

2. Our business and supply chain

We are a UK healthcare recruitment agency supplying temporary and permanent staff to care providers. Our supply chain includes background check providers, training providers, payroll/accountancy, and IT/hosting vendors.

3. Policies and controls

  • Right-to-work & identity checks for all candidates prior to placement

  • Fair recruitment practices with no recruitment fees charged to workers

  • Whistleblowing & safeguarding routes for concerns, including anonymous reporting via email

  • Supplier standards: we expect suppliers to prohibit forced labour, human trafficking, debt bondage, child labour, and to ensure fair working conditions

4. Due diligence and risk assessment

  • Assess suppliers based on risk (sector, geography, service)

  • Include anti-slavery clauses in supplier terms where applicable

  • Escalate and investigate any indicators of exploitation (e.g., withheld documents, multiple workers tied to one bank account, suspicious accommodation control)

5. Training and awareness

  • Induction and periodic refresher training for staff involved in recruitment and compliance

  • Guidance for consultants to spot warning signs of labour exploitation and how to escalate concerns

6. Reporting concerns

If you suspect modern slavery in our operations or supply chain, contact info@dmocareagency.co.uk. We will investigate and, where appropriate, work with authorities and affected parties.
